Our Wonderful Christmas

We always have lots of family fun parties! From the $5 dollar gift party, from bingo to the cousin exchange. Whatever it is, its always just lovely to get together with family!

Christmas Day was just wonderful as always. I think my kids are at great ages. We went to church with my mom, as we do every year for Christmas, to remember the TRUE meaning of Christmas! I feel so blessed to be a part of this Gospel! Dont my kids look lovely:) This pic. was taken after church so they were a tad bit tired at this point.
We got to open a couple gifts from grandma too.
Christmas Morning! Surprise number 1....The puppy. My kids are either really spoiled, or I am super crazy! Or probably both! Meet... Zellie! (or Zell)
Brielle started opening her gifts and once she got her buzz light year and woody... well, she was set! She refused to open anymore. At least for a good two hours that is.
Brielle got spoiled with a new Jeep. She sat in her Jeep all day (literally) until we left for church. We finally talked her into opening the rest of her gifts after about two hours later.
Surprise Number 2... DSI... (again) Dax got one last year too. But throughout the year his got dropped in the tub. So it was kinda a redo. But he was THRILLED!
And so was Corban. He got his first DSI.
The Poor dog will be loved and loved a little too much I am sure. I was not sure about getting a puppy. Dax asked for one and Corban begged for one. He said "mom, can Santa bring me a puppy?" I said "No, I dont think that Santa brings puppies on his sleigh". About a half hour later I heard him in the next room talking to Steve asking the same thing. But Steve's response was "He sure dose, he just puts them in a cage and lets them sit right next to him!" Holy crap he totally sold me out. I think Steve secretly wanted a puppy too. Lol. So we got the fam a puppy.

They sure look happy though, dont they. We went to Grandma's house the day after Christmas to hang out and not even 45 min. later the kids wanted to go home and play with the puppy. When normally they cry when we leave grandma's. SO I think this puppy will have a good home. Right now it is worse than having a new born baby. But I think it will get better (so I am told). But when I see how happy she makes my kids, its a little easier to push all that aside. Wish us luck, we are going to need it:)
